OnePlus Watch 2: According to tipster Max Jambor, a new OnePlus smartwatch could be available in 2024. The first OnePlus Watch was more of a fitness tracker with good battery life and rudimentary health info than a smartwatch. However, it lacked features and attention to detail. It too attempted to imitate Wear OS but failed. OnePlus made several changes over time, but the watch failed to make an impression and was retired quite some time ago. There have been no updates since early 2022.
OnePlus Watch 2 Rumored Specification
The OnePlus Watch will be available in March 2021. Later, limited edition models of the smartwatch were made available. It has a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass protection and a battery life of up to 14 days. It is likely to be superseded by the OnePlus Watch 2, albeit the company has not yet publicly stated this. However, a new leak has emerged on the Internet indicating the launch date of this alleged smart wearable. The source also hints to one of the game’s core design components.
The OnePlus Watch is available in Midnight Black, Moonlight Silver, and a Cobalt Limited Edition. It has a 402mAh battery and can connect through Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and Beidou. It has an IP68 dust and splash resistant rating and a 5ATM water resistance rating.
Circles seem to be OnePlus new signature style:

Wear OS ?
The key concern is if it will be compatible with Wear OS. OnePlus may have to forge its own path this time, as OPPO exclusively used Wear OS for square watches. We don’t know much about the specs or the release date yet, other that it will have a circular display. More information about it could be revealed in the following months, possibly around the same time as its predecessor.
