Poco M6 Pro 5G: As anticipated, POCO has officially introduced the M6 Pro 5G, the company’s latest cheap 5G smartphone in India. It boasts a 6.79-inch FHD+ 90Hz LCD screen with a punch-hole in the center and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC. It features up to 6GB of RAM with 6GB of virtual RAM, up to 128GB storage, is only 8.17mm thin, and has IP53 dust and splash protection ratings.
The phone runs Android 13 with MIUI 14, features a fingerprint scanner on the side, a 5000mAh battery, and supports 18W fast charging.

This 5G smartphone from Xiaomi’s sub-brand features a 6.79-inch FHD+ display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. The Poco M6 Pro 5G’s screen is protected by a Gorilla Glass 3 layer. It features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC. It ships with Android 13-based MIUI 14 and promises two major OS updates as well as three years of security patches.
The smartphone has a dual camera unit on the back, which combines a 50-megapixel AI sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It has an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls, which is housed in a hole punch cut-out at the top-center of the display.
It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging through a USB type-C connector. The smartphone is dust and splash resistant to IP53 standards. The Poco M6 Pro 5G has a fingerprint scanner on the side.
Pricing and availability
The POCO M6 Pro 5G is available in Forest Green and Power Black and costs Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB + 64GB model and Rs. 12999 for the 6GB + 128GB model, making it less expensive than the Redmi 12 5G with comparable specifications. It will be available on Flipkart beginning August 9th at 12 p.m.
