Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra: After debuting it on the Galaxy S21 Ultra, Samsung employed the 10 MP telephoto sensor with 3x lossless zoom on the Galaxy S22 Ultra and S23 Ultra. The 10x zoom sensor, which will receive slight upgrades, will apparently be the only camera change in the Galaxy S24 Ultra, according to a new rumour by tipster @Tech_Reve.

Instead of using the variable 3x to 10x telephoto camera for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, Samsung will continue to the setup of two telephoto cameras. Although it has not yet done so, the business has been investigating continuous zoom lens technology for telephoto cameras in future phones.

Regarding technical details, the Galaxy S23 trio’s 10 MP telephoto sensor currently allows up to 3x magnification. Samsung might take into account a minimum 12 MP sensor for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, similar to the periscope shooter on the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. However, it’s possible that a larger sensor—like one with 48 MP—will be employed.

There is conjecture that the non-Ultra models may include a 200 MP wide sensor in the upcoming year because the vanilla models and the Ultra variant share the same camera module, with the exception of the periscope lens.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra will keep the quad-camera setup’s four cameras and the same sensors, including the 200 MP main camera, the 10 MP periscope camera with 10x magnification, and the 12 MP ultrawide camera with slight upgrades.

In contrast to the models from the current year, earlier sources stated that Samsung would relaunch Exynos chips (Exynos 2400) with the Galaxy S24 series. However, information on the complete Galaxy S24 series is currently lacking.
